If you kill a spider it will rain

Is it true that it rains if you kill a spider. I'm afraid to take chances, so if I find a spider indoors I throw it out instead of killing it. Mojjen (Cat) however are not as superstitious ........ but look what happened .....maybe even he has learn a lesson.
